In the farmers’ tractor parade, the miscreants are the winner, neither farmers nor the Government. I am feeling angry and hurt by their ugly action at the Red Fort. There they hoisted some party’s flag on the pole, on which the national flag is hoisted on August 15 by the nation’s PM.
We almost anticipated some trouble and intelligence inputs were also there, then why did the Government allow this to happen. The nation is of 130 crore people. Certain national symbols are dear to all Indians. How can we allow a group of rogues to hurt the emotions of the whole nation?
In the matter of the nation’s pride and honor, There should be a limit to everything, beyond which nobody should be allowed for any reason.
Farmers’ leaders failed in conducting the peaceful rally as they had promised and disowned the miscreants. The Government should have dealt the miscreants with an iron hand.
A government should not tolerate an attack on the national sovereignty even by a citizen of the country. A Government must protect the nation’s honor.
The nation belongs to all its people. How can a fistful of rowdies take a jolly ride on sentiments and pride of crores of people?
